Suiren, Chapter Thirteen, currently has three scenes, and is about 50% done. There are 3~5 scenes remaining, depending on where i want to break it. Hopefully, i’ll have the next scene done by Monday, and most of the others should be relatively quick to write. The next scene is planned to be a return to Hinata and Sakura in the bath, so i’m procrastinating pretty badly about it -_-;…
I’m debating whether or not to post my skeletal outline for the remaining scenes in this chapter. I don’t usually do outlines, and i try not to share them when i do, since i don’t like to feel pressured into writing scenes to a predetermined outcome. As weird as it may sound, when i start writing a scene, i don’t usually have a firm idea of how it will end- and that actually makes it easier for me to write.
In the case of these scenes, however, it was like all the pieces just fell into place when i started thinking about the ripples of causality that Sakura has created so far, so i don’t feel quite so pressured; ’serendipity’ is my favorite word, when it comes to writing. Take that as you will, because it’s kind of embarrassing for me and a little bit scary for readers when i try to explain ^_^;…
