…’cause WordPress is watching you! Bwahahahaha! *cough*. Anyhow, now that i’ve posted at least a rough version of the revised Suiren chapters here, i’d be interested to know what folks who have read the old versions think of the changes.
For those that have come from fanfiction.net and aren’t familiar with this interface, you can leave comments for individual chapters in the ‘reply’ box at the end of each post. I’m also occasionally online on Meebo (that ominous box on the right side of the page), so if it says i’m here, anything you say there is relayed to me realtime.
If it doesn’t say i’m here, it’s probably better to leave a comment in one of the reply boxes, as i’m not sure how long Meebo stores offline IM messages…
Hey I’ve read all three versions of the story. I’ve gotta say your writing is getting really good. But I think there are some things that you could have left from the first version but it’s not the actual plot line just little things that give comedic relief and flow to the story. Of course I’d have to reread the first two versions again and tell ya cause I can’t think of them off the top of my head. The first two chapters are quite amazing I think that you should post them on fanfic.net soon. You’ll probably get great reviews for them!
As much as I enjoyed the version of Suiren up on ff.net, I think I like this one better – it’s more polished, and I also like where the differences in the later chapters are heading.
One thing that’s odd, though, is that the swears are kinda bleeped out in the early chapters as per the first edition, but not in the later ones.

The reason the censoring is not completely removed is because i made that decision partway through my posting to the FFML. In the ‘final’ versions that go up here (as if i could ever put something down and just be happy with it; ugh -_-;…), the censoring will be removed for all chapters.
